Julius Caesar and the republicans

Before Julius Caesar became dictator of the Roman Empire, he was a general that ran around Gaul capturing slaves for the Romans. The Gaul inhabitants were not as good fighters as the Roman legions, but they learned to build superb fortifications against the slave raids. Caesar, in order to minimize the casualties to his own soldiers by a frontal attack against these forts developed a technique to defeat the fortifications and take the inhabitants for slaves. He surrounded the fortifications, and simply waited for the defenders to surrender or starve. This is exactly the tactic that his modern day descendents in the  republican party have adopted today against democracy and human freedom. Today, our protective 'fortification' is democratic government, and the major technique for it's defeat and surrender of our freedoms again is starvation. In order to maintain this protective fortification, it must have the money to spend on it's protective duties and functions. To the end of 'starving' our government into submission, the republican slave raiders have adopted a policy of no taxes, and "small government", both of which are calculated, if they succeed, in killing (starving) our government's ability to protect us from them and their slavemongering. The building blocks in the fortification's walls of our democratic government is the minimum wage, social security, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, unemployment compensation, worker's compensation, fair labor standards, labor's the right to organize, OSHA, EPA, SBA, FHA, equal rights, affirmative action, and many others. All depend on a flow of tax monies through the government to make them successful and hold off the republican onslaught against democracy and civil and human rights, and economic rights and justice. They all stand as roadblocks in the path to human slavery, and are viciously opposed and attacked by the republicans. They know they cannot defeat human freedom in a frontal attack, so they heap their lies on us about taxes and "big government", where 'big government' is actually the equivalent of 'strong fortification'. They try to depict this protective organization as a republican profit making organization (the only kind they know) that is stealing from us though taxation. They will never allow us to know that our government is a non-profit protection agency that returns all the income it gets from the public back to the public, with values added. The government does not 'keep' one penny of tax monies for 'itself', every penny gets returned to the taxpayers, every penny goes back into the pockets of taxpayers. The government simply pumps the tax monies from the public back to the public, and in the process causes roads and schools and infrastructure to be built, pays for the salaries and the weapons of the military and law enforcement agencies, pays for social security to the retirees, welfare, unemployment compensation, workers comp, wages of government employees, SBA business loans, guarantees FHA loans, pays for enforcement of the OSHA and EPA loans, government funded research in science and health, and many other necessary building blocks in the walls of our protective fortification. In their diatribes against 'big government' they are actually urging us to tear down our protective fortification or tear down the walls agsinst slavery so they might more easily defeat it and capture the slaves they so desire to keep them rich and immune from doing labor themselves.
